Unfortunately, RSL picks 12th...They could move up, though it will cost them, but there are a lot of strikers in the draft, and at least 2 if not 3 of the top 6 picks have to be defenders or midfielders, and no way will Frei, Alston, Husidic, or Gonzoles be around for #12...With Zakuani, Marosevic, Cruz, Grella, Pontius, O'Brien White (remember that name?), Lahoud, Ring...there are at least 12 players I'd love to have, any of which has a better then average chance of making it in MLS...There are 9 people on the GA list right now, and way more than 3 great seniors in the draft. This should pan out to be a very interesting draft. Unlike some previous drafts, RSL could do well to stick with #12. I just hope Kreis and Lagerway do exhaustive homework this year...with only 2 picks in this year's draft (12 and 54), we have to make them count. This will UNDOUBTEDLY grow the section as a whole. October 9 is HUGE, and the showing in the southend needs to be vital.
