Well, it’s been a long time coming. For those of you familiar with the Heretic Report, it has traditionally been composed of practice reports and tactical analysis of Real Salt Lake’s players, coaches, upcoming lineups going into games. While I would like to maintain that tradition, I would nevertheless like to extend the scope of the report to include some analysis and criticism of player personnel moves and the RSL organization. Stay tuned for a wild ride and be prepared to be occasionally pissed off about what I write. Blind allegiance to every ridiculous move RSL makes hardly describes a supporter, it doesn’t even describe a fanatic…merely a rube. I will try to be as honest as possible, bearing in mind that this is always going to come from the perspective of somebody who desperately wants this team and the culture which will eventually surround it to succeed in Salt Lake City.
